About Me

I'm Caz,

I have spent 20 years teaching Animal Science at College and have decided to hang up my board pen and move into teaching my passion full time.

I'm fully qualified in all animal subjects as well as being a qualified teacher and assessor. I have taught and assessed qualifications in Dog Training and Husbandry, Canine Care and Welfare, Canine First Aid and Professional Dog Walker Qualifications.

I hold certificates with the IMDT and Canine Principles.

Fully insured and DBS checked.

My biggest hobby is dog agility. I have been competing for 15 years and have taught agility for nearly as long. I travel the country in the summer attending competitions, competing my dogs at championship level. Follow us on facebook!

Wags and Wisdom Dog Training and Walking is a comprehensive service provider offering professional dog training, dog walking, dog agility and educational programs for dog owners.

Our mission is to strengthen the bond between dogs and their humans through positive reinforcement training and the ability to understand the needs of our dogs through our own learning.

Puppy Classes

Little Wags: The Puppy Foundations

For: Puppies up to 12 months
Building bright beginnings, one wag at a time.

Your puppy’s first experiences shape who they become. In this foundational class, we focus on gentle socialisation, confidence-building, and positive early learning. You and your pup will discover how fun teamwork can be as you master everyday essentials like sit, down, recall, and polite greetings — all through play and encouragement.

Wags in Progress: Adolescent Adventures

For: Dogs who have completed ‘Little Wags’ or those over 12 months.

Turning wild wags into wise ones.

The “teen” stage can be tricky — but it’s also full of opportunity. This class helps you navigate distractions, energy bursts, and independence with patience and positivity. Together, you’ll strengthen focus, recall, and calm behaviour in real-life scenarios.

£95 for 6 hour long sessions.

Adult Dog Classes

Wise Wags: Adult Dog Life Skills

For: Adult dogs
Polished manners for real-world living.

This class refines your dog’s skills for everyday success. Perfect for rescue dogs, refreshers, or lifelong learners, it builds reliability, calmness, and confidence in any setting — from walks to cafés. You’ll strengthen your connection and make good behaviour a way of life.

One to One Training

All dogs are different, and all owners have different individual struggles with their dogs. We offer tailored one to one training sessions to help with dog owners that need a little bit more support.

£40 per hour.

Dog Walking

Not all dogs are comfortable going out in big groups.

At Wags and Wisdom, we prefer to give your dogs more personal time, offering single dog walks or dogs from the same household.

We can always bring one of our own dogs if you would prefer some safe and well managed socialisation.

Single dog - 1 hour £20

Single dog - 30 minutes £12

Additional dogs from the same household £5

Agility workshops

Monthly workshops held in St Austell

£30 for a 2 hour session

Held in collaboration with Ocean City Agility in Plymouth.

Regular weekly hour groups for beginners.

£60 for 1 hour in a 4 week block.

Dog agility is my absolute favourite thing to do.

Its great fun for both dog and handler, it encourages a really strong bond between you, its great for fitness and for mental stimulation.

We have had brilliant training sessions with Caz, she has worked with my puppies and my older dogs with toy play, recalls and agility training. Caz always uses positive training and rewards. My dogs always come away from there sessions with great success achieved.
